Assignment

Lead UI Architect will strive to make our client applications become the very best they can be.

It will be your job to define the future. You will be leading the architecture design and development to build modern and future-proof frontends – the core of the excellent digital customer experience. The frontends you design and build will be used in various eCommerce and other digitalization projects, used by millions of end-users world-wide.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating and documenting solid FE architecture model and principles
• Ensuring security and standards compliancy in our FE deliveries (eg. accessibility)
• Lead and collaborate to create pattern library and style guides
• Contribute and improve FE testing practices

Additionally, you are responsible for developing the competencies of our UI development team and leading the continuous improvement of the UI development discipline at Solteq.

You will be working with several frontend-related technologies, including React, Next.js, Gatsby and GraphQL. You have the possibility to contribute to Nordic level projects and programs of our customers.

You

Confident, enthusiastic, focused, eye for detail and professional. You have hands-on experience as a UI Lead or UI Architect and experience working with multiple projects and software teams. You possess great communication and collaboration skills and know how to utilize these skills to get things done.

We’d be thrilled to see that you

• Have at least 5-7 years of professional work experience in creating modern UIs with various technologies
• Have experience in leading UI developers
• Have a good understanding in what it takes to build a modern UI, such as accessibility, responsive design and PWA
• Have experience with most common frameworks, such as React, Angular, Gatsby and Next.js
• Have good understanding on headless architectural paradigm and MACH
• Experience with headless content management and Contentful is seen as a benefit
• Have a good level of English both written and spoken
