Solteq Plc is looking for a dynamic and development driven Business Controller to join the Solteq Finance Leadership team. You will be a key driver in developing and controlling Solteq’s Software Segment operations to enable and drive profitable and well controlled growth. Solteq Software Segment focuses on software for retail and utilities industries, and employs 250 experts in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Poland.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Active participation in Business Segment’s strategic planning and strategy implementation
• Coordinate annual business planning, budgeting and follow-up
• Manage and coordinate Business Segment’s rolling forecasting process
• Operational support to take fact-based decisions
• Customer and product profitability analysis
• Managing / participating in Finance IT and other development projects
• Execution and development of Business Segments’ monthly reporting and monthly closing activities

Experience and skills required

• Pragmatic and strong in finance execution with international / multi-country experience and finance/business partnering capabilities
• Structured and focused finance professional – results oriented. A can do -mindset to dig deep where and when required while possessing a strong ability to form a holistic view of the business is required.
• Proven analytical and strategic abilities to drive the organization towards set long-term vision and goals
• An effective communicator at all levels and functions of a multi-national / international organization, with strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Master's degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting, fluent Finnish and English language skills

A successful candidate possesses an excellent knowhow and a holistic view of business controlling, preferably obtained in an international IT Services and/or Software company. Accounting (IFRS) knowledge is considered as an advantage. Also, you have a passion for information technology, combined with experience from a solution and service -based business environment. You also have hands-on approach and are capable of working independently.

You will report to the Group CFO and will be based preferably in Vantaa, Finland, with flexible remote being a matter of course. The role will require some travelling across our international offices.
